    Custody of 6 month old
My sons father and I are no longer together and he recently got married to another person. His father and I had come to an agreement and a custody and child support situation. Since he is going to be in and out of deployment for the next 4 years I have primary physical custody and we have joing legal when he is here. He pays me $400 a month plus half a month of daycare. I have always let him see him whenever he wanted to so our visitation schedule is open. In our custody arrangement papers it says on there that when his father is not physically present that it is up to me on if he sees the family or not. His wife however I don't get along with too well cause I don't find her a good mother. Her oldest son she sent him to live with his biological father who he never met before. Her middle child and youngest child go to a friend of hers house every weekend. The middle child still sees her dad who use to beat her mom up. That is the background, now here is the problem. His father is leaving in a week and a half to go on a 6 month deployment. He wants me to give his wife visitation to my son when he is gone. I told him I would not give her visitation like I give you but will take him up there so she can see but won't leave him there with her without me. He than told me since she would have power of attorney over him when he is on deployment that she is going to take me to court for custody and or visitation. He also said that when he gets stationed somewhere else other than here that he wants me to alternate my son back and forth from year to year so he can spend an entire year with him. What are the likelihood that any of that is going to be possible? What should I do? Do I need to get a lawyer or is it a piece of cake case?

She can't do it, he will have to be there, seldom do courts allow step parents to have any custody rights,

He is threatening you without talking to an attorney trying to scare you.

I would discuss this with the attorney that did your divorce and child custody.

Now you said you have an agreement, is this thought he court ? You need to have your agreements ruled on though the court. I will assume your current custody agreement and support is though the court
