:confused: I am trying to find the name of a TV show that aired in the late 80’s or early 90’s. It had a teenage blonde girl that lived on earth with her mom. Her father lived in space or he was from space, something like that. She also had something like a crystal ball upstairs in her room, which was how she contacted her dad, when he was gone. The only episode I remember was when the girl’s dad offered to give her ether a gift for her birthday. It was between seeing through walls and reading people’s minds. That is all I really remember and I would like to find the title of the TV show.

I believe the series you are seeking is 'Out Of This World' Starring Maureen Flannigan as Evie Garland.

There were 4 series from 1984-87.

Doug McClure also starred in the show as Mayor Kyle X. Applegate and Burt Reynolds was the voice of Troy, Evie's father.

I was in my late thirties when this was first shown on UK TV and I thoroughly enjoyed the series.

I have tried to discover if this is available on DVD or Video but cannot find any information, so I assume it is not. A pity because it was an enjoyable series.
