How long will it take for xanax to get out of my system for a urine test? I've taken 1mg of xanax for 3 days consecutively. I need to know if it will be out within 72 hours or not.

Xanax (Alprazolam) is in a class of drugs known as benzodiazepines. Since you ingested low doses on each occasion it is unlikely the quantity would rise to the level of detection at 3 days from last dose. But that is a very close call.

Alprazolam can be detectable for 5 days but that usually applies to heavier or more frequent dosing.

Much depends on your metabolism and the scope of the test performed. Benzodiazepines are not part of a basic 5-panel test but usually are included in an expanded panel (10+). So there are a lot of variables involved.
