Flotec 1/4 hp pump - pipe size
I purchased a pump ( Fp0S1800LTS) to go under my sink in the basement. The plumbing has been added to the basement and ready for drywall. I noticed that my plumber has a 2" pipe running up the wall where the pump will be. They do have a 1 1/2 piece on the bottom that will connect to the pump. My concern is that this pump doesn't have enough power to pump water 9' up a 2" pvc pipe. The instructions do not say what size pipe needs to be put vertically up the wall but does say it the pipe coming out of the unit is 1 1/2".

    Thanks for your help.
