I split from my boyfriend two weeks ago after 6 weeks together. As I lied about a text I got from a guy I went out with once before I meet him. And said it was from a friend. Anyway he knew I was lying confronted me and I came clean. He then said he needed space to think which I hate as he has done this with a previous argument and went quiet for days. So I ended it as thought it was what he wanted.

I text him last night as missed him. His answer was not angry so phoned him. We talk things over and told him exactly what the texts said which made him mad again. As previously I didn't say the guy had asked me for a pic and he would leave me in peace as wanted everything out in the open. Anyway he said he needed to think and if he misses the boat with me fine he would have to deal with that. He didn't want to give me false hope but needed to think as he has been cheated on in the past. I apologised and tried to reasure him.

Have I blown it? He said see you later at the end of the call and I text him after and thanked him for listening to me and said I would not contact him until I heard from him if I was lucky enough too.

He may forgive you, but still not take you back. And it may take a long time for that forgiveness to come, seeing as he was cheated on by one female, and lied to by another.
