How do I proceed?
I just found out that my divorce from 13 years ago was not finalized. I was told that it was, and that I was ordered to pay $780.00 a month in child support. My ex remarried and is now going through another divorce, only now it's come out that she never finalized our divorce. I remarried a year ago. We both realized that our marriage is not valid, but what do we do. My current wife had her name changed so how does that work now? Do I need to go to the court house that we got our marriage license from and explain what is going on to have our marriage license removed? My ex lives in OK and I live in Tx. Can I file for divorce here and how do I go about getting the back child support she says I owe her removed since I was never ordered by a judge to pay child support in the first place...
