My boyfriend of two and a half years (who I have lived with for a 1 yr and 3 months) seems more preoccupied with his job or with his friends on his spare time. I tell him we need to do something else besides sit inside watching movies or going out once a week to a movie but he argues that we do. The thing is its with his friends. I have told him this and he argues that we hang out with my friends all the time, when really that's not true at all. I see my friends once in a while and that's because he is working or he is doing something he'd rather do with his friends or its because I invite my friends to hang out with his. Everyone gets along just fine, we are all "friends" but it's not what I mean. He says we see one another all the time, which is partially true. He works from home and I only work 4 days a week and till only 6 at night so I see hime every evening. But he is either too sucked into designing something new for his company, out surfing with his friends and then too tired to do anything after, or we are having awesome sex but after that it's kind of like "ok, now i got to get back to what I do." I love him and I know he loves me but I need more attention than this, am I being selfish? And on top of all of this I am feeling a little unattractive lately.
Should I be worried or is this normal? Do most people get past this?

Seems like you're down a dead end street with nowhere to go but straight ahead. Usually I would recommend having a conversation expressing your feelings. You've done that, so really there's not much else you can do.

Communication is one of the greatest tools man has ever created, it is also one of the most important ingredients in the foundation of a relationship. If communication fails to prove any sufficient results, then nothing is really going to get done.

There's a fine line between being selfish and feeling neglected in situations such as this. Ultimatelly, where you draw said line is up to you. I'm sure there are plenty of guys out there willing to give you the attention you seek. Not saying you need to leave, however, if you feel you are being neglected and he is not doing anything about it, then maybe you should consider it.
