Was Jim Croce Ever a Christy?
I saw the New Christy Minstrels in concert in early 1980. In that concert, they claimed that Jim Croce had once been a member of the group. I haven't been able to find anything to corroborate this claim. Does anybody know for sure, or can someone point me to a source that can definitely say yea or nay?

    Thanks!

I called the reference desk at my friendly local public library and found out that Kenny Rogers and Karen Black had been Minstrels after 1960, but not Jim Croce at all. (The librarian had a list of all members who ever sang with the original group and with the New Christy Minstrels.)
