18 year old touches 14 year old boys penis in Washington state. 18 yr. old trouble?
I know an 18 year old who touché a 14 year old's penis. The reason for this was said to be curiousness. The boys are 45 months apart in age. Is the 18 year old in trouble? What does Washington state's law say about this?

The 18 year old can be charged. At 18 he's an adult. What he did is molestation. Molestation is against the law. If the 14 year old consented to this, it's still against the law. At 14 the child cannot legally consent to any sexual act, and fondling is a sexual act.

The age of consent in Washington is 16.

Also likely to be the recipient of other activities at the hands of several larger older men on numerous and repeated occasions during their incarceration when they won't be given the right of refusal.

    "RCW 9A.44.083

Child molestation in the first degree.

    (1) A person is guilty of child molestation in the first degree when the person has, or knowingly causes another person under the age of eighteen to have, sexual contact with another who is less than twelve years old and not married to the perpetrator and the perpetrator is at least thirty-six months older than the victim.

    (2) Child molestation in the first degree is a class A felony."

    "RCW 9A.44.010
    Definitions.
    As used in this chapter:
    ...
    (1) "Sexual intercourse" (a) has its ordinary meaning and occurs upon any penetration, however slight, and
    ...
    (2) "Sexual contact" means any touching of the sexual or other intimate parts of a person done for the purpose of gratifying sexual desire of either party or a third party.
    ...
    "

The part in bold is important. For example, if a physician examines the intimate part, but not for sexual gratification, he or she is not guilty of a crime.

Is "curiousness" for sexual gratification? Probably, but possibly not.

I have to wonder about an 18 yr old being curious about male genitalia. I'm wondering is this 18 yr old has a mental deficiency.

More likely just a garden-variety pervert.

The reason for the "curiousness" was because the kid had a serious rash in that area. They went to doc. All is good. Thank you!

Sorry a "rash" story does not sound right, assume it is a lie to cover up personally
