    Sandy well water
    We have a well that hashadoccassional sandy water for the past 4yrs that clears upwithin a day. This time is has lasted for over a week. Any suggestions

    Put in filters or a sand trap. Filters require periodic changing. Sand trap has to flushed out periodically but usually not as often as changing filters. How well the filters or the sand trap work depends on how fine the sand is.
    You might want to flush out your pressure tank to remove any sand that has settled there.

    Hi becky and welcome, I would see if it's possible to raise the pump or footvalve, may just be to close to the bottom.

    There's some good pump experts here that may have better advice, so check back often. Good luck
