Signing a paper not knowing how to read
My husband is in jail and my mother in law went under me and had a attorney give him some papers for him to sign! (now she has done something like this before with her soon to be ex husband, tricked him on signing his property over to her) my husband HE can't READ AT ALL VERY WELL, the papers were for her to be power of attorney and I think its shady for her doing that and now I don't know what I can do about this situation. Anyone have an idea of what I can do!?

Get him to revoke the POA and give you his POA. As soon as he gives it to you, her POA will be invalid.

He may revoke her Power of Attorney at any time.
He should inform her , in writing, that he is revoking the Power of Attorney. He must request the return of all copies of his Power of Attorney.
He should notify your bank or other financial institution where she has used the Power of Attorney that it has been revoked.
He should file a copy of the revocation with the County Clerk if it has been filed in the Clerk's office.
It is in your best interests to consult a lawyer.

First he should draw up a form saying that he is canceling her Power of Attorney, this will be her Statement of Revocation.
Then contact his Agent, in writing by Registered Letter, and tell her that he is canceling her Power of Attorney, he should then return any Powers of Attorney. Include a copy of the Notary Stamped Statement of Revocation. A Registered letter is delivered by the US Post Office .This will be proof that he notified her in writing. Then he should file a copy of this letter with the county records office. After that he should contact all his banks and other institutions and give them a copy of the Revocation of the Power of Attorney.
