We had an architect/contractor team do a build-out bathroom addition to our master bedroom. We chose to have a frameless glass shower installed. We love the shower but we are having problems throughout the day with the door. In the morning the door which is made to swing both directions will hit the stationary section. Then later in the day the door will swing freely! This has just begun to happen in the last 3 days and the installation is only one month old. Has anyone else had this sort of problem and what could be causing this to happen?

Your glass can expand but ever so slight. When the door is working OK check the clearence between the door and the stationary glass. Slip a piece of paper between the two and slide it top to bottom, then try it with 2 pieces then 3 and so on. If the gap is only two or three pieces of paper wide the glass could expand from the heat of the shower. Call your contractor back, there should be some adjustment.
