    Custody issue across state lines
    I have a big question my my ex girlfriend have re stranding order we lived in hartford ct we have 9month old girl when was in little fight she called cops said I hit her and we bouth went to jail next day court I told court I don't want her living in my house any more she came with cops took her clothing and hse was going to take kid cops said no kid was born in CT you can not take her to NY next court comes she came with other cops she took more clothing and she took baby I wasent even home she told my mom the court said she can and my mom didn't speack english we are europen so what shouild I do now I ask my cousen to text her ask if I can see the baby she told him just tell him now let him feel pain what is there I can do didn't see my doughter for 3months pLEASE ANYONE HELP

    First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on another thread. This can lead to confusion. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

    What you threw her out, you should have filed immediately for custody of the child. Now you are going to have to deal with her moving. But you need to file for custody in Family court. This is separate from your domestic violence issues (which I assume is what the next court data is about).

    Its not clear how long ago this was, but given the language issues, you NEED to get a local attorney to file for custody and/or visitation.

    Chances are that she lied to your mom. If she had a court order, you would have received written notice.

    Yes she probably lied and I'll even bet they weren't real cops. But that's not the point. Since there was no court ordered custody (I'm assuming), now that she has the child you can't get the child back without a court order.
