    New Toilet but no Flush
We have a brand new toilet and we still have no suction. We can flush twice and it backs up as if there is a drainage problem, but then we can use the plunger to create suction and flush a third time and it goes down immediately, so that eliminates "back-up". We have also checked the vent and can see no blockage. This really has us stumped. Never had a problem before. We have tried two different new toilets and still have the problem. Water in bowl is about an inch or less from overflow. Anyone has ideas, don't hesitate to let us know.

You can't check a vent by just "looking". Do you hgear any gurgles from a bath fixture when you drain or flush? Is the tank level 1/2" under the white overflow tube? Does pouring a pail of water in the bowl make it flush? Back to you, Tom
