So me and this girl have been dating since December but we started in August and it started with my ignoring her and giving her the cold shoulder. At one point I cut her off for two weeks but after awhile I fell in love with her and I care a lot about her and now she says she feels us drifting away. She says it's going to be tough to get over the past and how I was an ***. But now that she feels us drifting apart and asking for 2 weeks of space makes me expect the worst.

She asked me not to call, text, Facebook her and to pretty much pretend she doesn't exist for 2 weeks and it's not guaranteed she'll answer me in those 2 weeks and she's on her period as we speak and I always get the worst from her when she on it. But right now I'm on day two and I'm scared about it and pray everything will be OK.

I know I shouldn't think negative I respect her space but if she feels us drifting away now I hope it doesn't be the reason out relationship ends. I really love this girl and I'm trying hard to make up for all the I've done and treating her like a princess. I asked her of she's doing this to forget about me and she said no she just needs time to think but I feel skeptical about it I don't know why. But I asked her to give me a reason why exactly and she said things are better left unsaid but I just need someone's take on this.

This is my first serious relationship not hers.

Hard to regain trust or keep a bond when you have shown some really bad behavior and you have little choice but to do as she asks and not make it worse because you are afraid of losing her.

No telling what happens next, but do as she asks, and hope for the best, but plan for the worst.
