How do you get published online?
I heard Wondergirl say she has been published four times online, and I was just wondering how you do that. She said she has published books. Any information will be help full.

I said I had four books published traditionally without leaving my house -- i.e. me in Chicago, publisher in San Francisco. I wrote the four books, all the chapters, in Word, emailed attachments of finished chapters to my publisher, my editor emailed me back with suggested corrections, we maybe IMed or did phone calls to get those chapters in final form. The four books became "out of print" when the copyrights were bought by Google Books, where you can read them now.

I also got two magazine articles published in a similar way, never met my editor then either. My first published journal article had been published by the Chicago Historical Society, so I traveled into the Chicago Loop to CHS to meet several times in person with my editor .

Do you want to publish an ebook on your own or go the traditional route?
