Looking for an old 80's (country?) song
    Help -

This song was played, I believe on a country radio station, and sung by a woman.

I might have some of the lyrics messed up, but here goes -

"throat scratchy from smoking too many cigerattes"

Also might have something regarding time? Since when listening to this song you can tell she has been awake all night.

I don't have much. It is one of those 80's heartbreak songs, and was played a lot back then.

Any ideas at all would be appreciated. I know I will recognize it once I hear it.

    Thanks so much!
