Children's Book - where you look for a little duck on each page
    Hi,
Would appreciate any help in identifying a child's book that my sons had about 20+ years ago.
Each double page when opene had a picture of a scene and a little yellow duck was 'hiding' in each picture in the laundry he is inside the front loading washer or maybe it was a dryer.
The double page showed in that case a laundry it had lots of items found in a laundry and around the border were all pictures of the items found within the picture and labelled in lowercase. I also recall a double page of the kitchen and guess other rooms, but can't recall much more.
Book was about 10 x 12" approx. a largish book and less than ½" thick.
Front cover I seem to recall had red border and picture.
( it might have been published osbourne or usbourne or similar)
Thanks for reading and any help you may be able to give me.

I have a book like that called 1000 words in japanese, each page has a scene and the pictures around the edge tell you the name in japanese. If you like I can tell you were the duck is on each page.

    Hi Curlybenswife,

THANKS I got so excited and checked out using the French link and found one and bought it straight away... it was over 8pounds with postage - it was a Buy It Now.
Now I see your next post with the starting price of 1 pound - but never mind I wanted it now I have it and don't have to wait for an auction to end.
Iam thrilled beyond words - now DS can have an Easter gift rather than wait for his birthdayin September - he will be 31 this year - but has fnd memories of this book and with 2 sons of his own ( 2½ and 8 months old ) I am sure they will keep this 'treasure' I have found with your help. Carolyn

Before you hehehehehe too much - you have to wait to see auction end price.
Seriously I do hope you can win it with a lower price than mine, but I am happy that I have mine for sure - regardless of price paid.
Oh and just checked and found it ends Aussie time on Monday around noon and I won't be home then.
    Bye and Thanks

Cool! We have a bunch of Usborne books for our kids - there's the Find the Duck one and Find the Kitten and a bunch others similar in style. They are well made and the kids love them.

Here is Canada the Usborne books are mainly sold by Avon-style book parties. Here's the website: Usborne Books in Canada | Welcome to Usborne in Canada!

I know you're in the UK so I found this: Usborne Books at Home: Official website

    Hi Curlybenswife,
My book arrived today from UK and it is just as I remember it, will give to DS2 for Easter. So pleased to read you got your copy too.
I do recall the original one was H/C but not worried that this one is S/C - probably saved me a heap on postage being S/C
Likewise I could easily spot/remember where the little duck was hiding LOL

    Thanks again for your help.
