Help with tiolet flushing too much
Well, I thought I had ghosts, my tiolet would flush or run at various times during the day and night without anyone being near it. Replaced the seals on the float, helped a little, so I finally replaced the rubber float. Now my problem is it flushes twice and sometimes three times. It seems when you flush the handle the water empties, then partially fills and empties again, sometimes doing it a third time.
I'm on a water meter and would like to conserve water but can't figure this out. Can anyone give me a suggestion of what to try next, before I have to call a plumber with a $85 service call. Thanks for any help you can give me, opps it's flushing by itself again, wish I knew more about tiolets.
