    how to find surface area of a cone in terms of pi
    I am struggling to find out how to find the surface area of a cone giving all answers in terms of pi... radius is 8 and slant height is 12... Please help?

    Given the radius of the base =R and the slant length S: the area of the slanted side of the cone is and the area of the base is . The total surface area is the sum of these.
