Why has my dog stopped using his pads?
My dog has been going on his pads for two years just fine. My grandfather has recently moved in with me and my family. After a few weeks of his arrival my dog has not been going on his pad anymore he has been going around the house and (his pad is in a bathroom we put him in for potty time) he goes on the floor in the bathroom. Its like he doesn't want to go on it anymore. My mom is getting fed up and threatening removal only if he will go again. Please help! I need to fix this issue.

If this all coincides with the arrival of a new person in the house, I guess that's the reason, but we aren't there. Dogs can get anxious about changes, or maybe your grandfather doesn't like him?
I assume this is a tiny dog who isn't taken on walks? Why isn't he taken on walks?

well he isn't taken on walks because he gets fleas and none of the k9 advantix or frontline work because he is allergic. He goes on a pad and did just fine but my grandfather came. He likes him and the dog likes him too and my dog was acting normally for about two weeks and then this happened. This morning he did it again and I'm getting worried.

I would take him in to have his urine checked and make sure that you are not dealing with a urinary tract infection.
It could be the recent changes but it is always best to rule out medical issues first.
Our pets have a way of letting us know something is just not right, maybe this is his way.
Have you checked into some of the newer flea control medications that you can get from your vet? Speak with his vet there may be something available now that he can use, then you could take him on walks for potty breaks.
