What are the settings for the pressure switch? 40 on, 60 off should give u enough pressure.

Do u have a bladder tank? Pressure in bladder tank should be set 2psi lower then the cut in (on) pressure. This is checked with the tank empty.

I have a bladder tank but I did not see any settings to check other than a gauge that read 90psi with pump off.

I have a bladder tank but the only gauge showing shows 90psi. There is no other switches. What next?

On top of tank is an air pressure valve, similar to what is on a tire.

Shut off well pump and drain tank. Check air pressure in tank with a tire gauge. If your pressure control switch is set to go on at 40 psi then tank pressure should be set at 38 psi.
