    Bleeding a week after period
    A little background info. I had a baby 7 months ago and then had my first period since then just about 1 1/2 weeks ago. Exactly one week after my full 7 day period I started spotting. It is a red/pink watery consistency. I had some cramping the first day, but really haven't had any since then. I have been experiencing spotting for about 4 days now.

    It's the weekend so I am not sure if I should just wait it out to see if it ends soon or if I need to see the doctor. I am not on the pill. And yes I am sexually active with my husband. I can't imagine that I am pregnant again... at least I hope not. Thinking about getting a pregnancy test. Is it just my period adjusting again after not having one for so long? Additionally this is my 3rd child and I have never experienced spotting like this with the other kids after getting my period.

    It could be your period has not yet adjusted to having the baby. However, since you have been having unprotected sex, it would be a good idea to wait to see what happens next month with your period.
