    Sick puppy
My dog is house trained/crate trained, but this week when I get home from work he keeps peeing and popping on the floor (watery poop). I think his stomach is bothering him because he is definitely not acting himself and never has accidents. Is there anything you can suggest that I should try to give him before I take him into the vet?

    Thanks

When my dogs have been sick in the past, I always cook some rice and feed it to them until things resolve.

It's always best to rule out medical issues, as the inappropriate urination and watery stool could be a bit concerning.
As far as messing the floors, how old is your dog? Is he being left longer than normal during the day?
Is he crated during the day?
There are lots of things to consider when a dog is "not right"
Vaccine history, deworming, food changes or habits like getting into garbage or perhaps someone giving him the wrong treats.
Is he vomiting, lethargic or weak, is he eating as he normally would?
Typically when an animal is not acting him/herself a vet trip is in order.
In the meantime, feed bland foods like boiled chicken and rice, no fat, no bones, no skin, no seasoning and drain off the fat.
Small meals are best about 1/4 to 1/3 of what you would normally feed, you don't want to overload his digestive system.
If he is vomiting and having diarrhea don't feed him at all and call your vet.
Try to see to it that he is drinking you don't want him to dehydrate.
