How to handle 18 year son
We are basically from India and moved to Australia few year back. My eldest son [18 years old] was good at school back home. Me and my wife was very happy for our children's future that now we are in Australia. Now he start going out in the night with friends. He is always telling lie. He don't listen, saying he is 18 now. All the time on computer if he is at home. Teacher's in school is always complaining about him for his study as well. Working just one day in a week. Always asking for money. He is totally changed. Going out in the night and staying out whole night and sometime he stays at friends place and he don't bother to ring us even that he is not coming home, these all are not acceptable in our culture and religion. We are very upset, One of my friend said to me when I came to Australia don't take your son to Australia, I didn't listen to him. I could have listen. But what to do now? Should we go back? Can anyone help?

You don't have to go back. I used to be out of control until my parents had enough of it they stopped giving me money and took my car away. It just made me more angry ,but I had a boxing coach and a gym that ultimately helped me. They tolled me ''You put effort into this gym and you succeeded in here ,but you put no effort into life or your education. They wouldn't let me back in the gym for a week ,and then I realized how acting the way I was. Was hurting how I was succeeding in life. Your son just needs a wake up call maybe from someone other than you like a coach or even a friend.
