Old Lennox AC will not shut off
I inherited an OLD Lennox AC HS9-461-1P that was unhooked/unwired at the heaters blower motor. Lennox only has installation/maintenance manuals starting at the HS10 series and has different looking capacitator parts. When I hook it up at the blower motor, per HS10 wiring, the AC runs when the system is shutoff at the thermostat. I cleaned the entire system including all coils and contact points and looks pretty clean – no bugs/corrosion. The system does cool when running but frosts up (needs a recharge) and the heater works fine. What am I missing besides the correct wiring diagram or is there a short or open in the system? A new system is not an option.

I installed a delta universal trim kit#10003/10004and the knob will not shut off the water. Is there a way that I have to position the guts inside the wall?
Had cold snowy days and furnace will shut off before reaching set temp. The exhaust pipes were in the direct path of the blizzard. I can't see any ice blocking but there is a large chunk that appears to be from one of the pipe.
Lennox Value Series... serial 5896G56798 M/N 10ACB365-5 P Central a/c unit and a Lennox G26 Series gas furnace both about 13 or 14 yrs old. Came home from vacation and turned A/C on (son tried earlier in the week) only a low hum whether on auto or fan or if we try heat(same thing, low hum)......
Lennox G12Qe series 1986... furnace lights and if I wire blower up to constant power will work.. but blows luke warm air out... Any ideas... blower will not come on unless I hook up constant to it..
