Removed the trap to retrieve something that went down the drain. When reattacing the j-trap, leaks from the lower nut on the wall side (not the nut closest to the wall). Have undone & redone 5 times... Still a slow leak.

Water leaks from the toilet supply line coupling nut attached to the shut-off valve. I inspected the nut and the red rubber washer looks crushed and worn out. Do I replace the washer or should I just buy a new supply line?

Hello All, I am putting a ceiling in an unfinished room below my master bath, but we have a leak from the shower above. I am trying to loosen the bottom nut (already disassembled the top side) but the whole drain is turning. Any ideas how I can break this loose? Thank You, Josh
