Should I even try to get back to with my ex after.
So my ex girlfriend and I broke up about a month ago, this relationship was very long(4 years) and well it kind of ended like the fall of Rome.

We started dating in 2008 after what seemed to be a eternity in the friend Zone. When the relationship started it was like a dream come true, everything was fun and exciting and we just always were together.

As time went on a more of a monotony set in, went to work on the weekdays, went to see her on the weekends and repeat but things were all fine. She was happy and we still had a lot of fun.

Then in the late summer of last year we moved in together and thing were great, I had gotten a new job and we were going out and doing a lot of new stuff that we really had not done before, but only after like a month I lost my job and the real fun started.

Now I'm not proud of this but I did not tell her I lost my job and ( thought I could get another one quick) and soon after I become broke. She started to have to support me and well you can see what road that leads to. Any way amost a year later and we have broken up and well I for a new job, had one for a while, but what I want to know how or even if I should to try to contact her.

Leave the ball in her court mate, let her do the chasing... if she really cared for you, she will make contact eventually it sucks but the NC rule will help you:

    1. Heal/Get over her
    2. Create time her each of you to be independent and rarely create realization of what they have missed ( don't bank on that last statement but it does happen )

How old is she and you?

Hmm, dude all I can suggest is just let her come to you... don't give her the satisfaction of you chasing her, life/dating/relationships just end up being games.

Hold out and see what time shows you.
