    Harbour Breeze Fan Remotes
I have a Harbour Breeze fan in my family room and just installed another one in one of my bedrooms upstairs. The problem I'm having is every time I use the remote on the bedroom ceiling fan it will also control the downstairs fan. How do I fix this? Can I change the frequency for the remote?

Find your owners manual, there should be dip switches in the remote, under the battery door, and a tiny hole where the learn button is. I don't remember exactly how to do it, but something to do with changing one of the dip switch settings and killing power to the fan, then turning power back on and pressing the learn button for 3 seconds or so, until the light blinks twice.. but find your manual to make sure, I would hate for you to do it the wrong way.
