    Medical--sinus problems
    Hi
I have always had trouble with my sinus, without sounding gross, there is fluid almost continuously down each side of my nose. It gives me headaches and I feel sick all the time. I have an appointment at the ear nose and throat clinic and I am hoping this will sort it out. When it starts affecting your life its time to do something. Is there anything over the counter that could ease this problem, because the waiting time for ear nose and throat is ridiculous. Ive tried all the hayfever medicines but nothing is making it any better.

Thanks for your advice, I've used all the nasel sprays, tablets etc.

No I haven't used sinus flushes, can you get them on prescription, at the chemist over counter, or is that what ear nose and throat clinic will do?

    Hi,

The ENT clinic will give you antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicines. You may also need an X-ray or MRI to check if you have any conditions like Deviated nasal Septum (DNS) or nasal polyps which could be triggering the sinusitis.

The netipots are available at any medical store without a prescription.

Neti pots can be very dangerous if not used properly. So please, get educated on this if you plan on using them.
