    What TV series is this- I think 1980's
    In it a convict loses his memory and he is hired to drive a special car (not Night Rider)

    And anyone else who was hired to drive the car couldn't do it.

    I remember he screamed and the guys in the office thought he crashed but then he said "I am never driving anything else again"

    So He became a crime fighter (not knowing he use to be a convict)

    I do not believe it was on for very long

    I found it. It was in 1994 not the 1980's it was called Viper and only ran a few months.
