Now, this is going to be vague, and probably very hard.

Last few days I've been trying to think of this song I heard a few years back. I don't remember the name of the band, or the name of the song.

If I remember correctly the name of the band, is the name of the song, but the name of the song is the name of the band with a dot between each letter, and the chorus is them singing the letters. It kind of classic rock if you want to call it that. If it helps I think I recall it starting with "H" but don't take my word for it.

Is it Rock You by Helix? They were sort of a hair metal band from the 80s... they spell the song title, "Gimme an R! O! C! K!...What ya got? ROCK! And what ya gonna do?? ROCK YOU!!"

No it isn't, the song title was the same as the name of the band. I remember that much.

I finally found it.

The Hives - T.H.E.H.I.V.E.S

For anyone else that was wondering. I did kind of describe the song terribly though, they actually had a very high pitched voice in the song, the chorus was sang deeper.
