    Attaching face to fan box
I have the bathroom ceiling fan model 0056948 and I cannot figure out how to attach the face to the unit. Even looking at the instructions it looks like I should be able to attach the springs to cage housing but there is no where to put the springs and the face does not snap onto the housing.

It is a Harborbreeze. I don't have a picture right now but it is about 12" square with a center centrifugal fan. No light.

I have an older home with a Hunter fan that stopped working. I took down the fan and noted that there were 5 sets of wires coming into the metal overhead box. Attaching light kit Craftmade ceiling fan [ 4 Answers ]

I have Craftmade ceiling fan. I bought a generic Harbor Bay ceiling fan light kit. It seemed very straight forward installation, white to white, black to blue, but afterward the light would not work. I know the light bulbs work, I've tested them. The fan still works. On the wall is a...

Attaching Copper wire to alum. Wire in fuse box. [ 1 Answers ]

I have a electric stove to hook up in my house that had a gas stove. The electric 50 amp receptacle is already in place from the previous owner. The existing stove “aluminum” wiring goes into the circuit breaker box, but the wiring is cut off inside the circuit breaker box and is too short to...

Plastic ceiling fan junction box [ 4 Answers ]

I just bought a new home that was pre-wired for ceiling fans. When I went to install the first one, I found an odd looking plastic junction box. It has no threaded holes for the hanger screws. The cover plate was held on by what look like wood screws that had been screwed directly into the box....
