    Statue limitations small claims court Florida
    If I owe someone money from a loan in nj and they want to collect would I be served in fl or would I have to go to nj can they serve me at work

    The could sue you in either state. The SOL is 6 years in New Jersey; 4 years in Florida, or 5 years if it is in writing.

    I believe they can serve you at work, at home, or wherever the process server can find you.
