The power to the house flashed and now my hunter thermostat has no power
We had a storm, and the power flashed to the house. It was only off a few seconds, then everything was normal. I felt the temperature rising in the house, and checked the thermostat. It was blank, so I replaced the batteries and still nothing. It is a Hunter programmable about 11 years old. Any help?

Check the furnace and A/C fuses and circuit breakers. The check the transformer that supplies 24 volts to the thermostat. The transformer might have gone out during the storm.

Hunter thermostat reads no a/c power [ 7 Answers ]

We just purchased a hunter thermostat model 44760 to replace the old thermostat when our a/c went out and it reads no a/c power. We have a trane heat pump. We've also replaced the fuses outside next to our heat pump and nothing is working. I believe our wiring is correct. Can anyone help? Thanks....
