Foreclosure owner responsibilities until sale
What is the owners responsibilities on a home with an HOA if the house was surrendered in a bankruptcy ?
Also what about things like children wandering onto the property and getting hurt. (The home is in Florida) The house is unoccupied and there is a lock on the door (presumably by the bank). The county property appraiser shows the house in my name. The bank (BoA) keeps putting it up for auction and pulling it before the actual sale. This has been happening for several years about every other month. The attorney said HOA was covered in the bankruptcy. Please let me know what to do so I don't have to worry about mishaps. I have tried to communicate with the bank but they won't say anything. Thank you for any advice. |
