I turned off the water to fix my toilet and now it won
I removed my toilet which was working perfect to do a little painting. When I went to reconnect the toilet to the to the water supply it began to leak once I turned the water on. I turned the water on and off a couple of times to see if I could stop the leak. Instead of stopping the leak all water stopped. Help... What should I do?

You have two issues. If the supply leaked at the tank connection then you crossthreaded it, Easy to do with plastic threads. That's problem number one. Problem number two happened when you disturbed some mineral build up in your pipe walls. Shut the water off at the house shut off and Unscrew the bonnet packing nut from the chrome angle stop. Back the stem and washer assembly out counterclockwise. Now place a pan or pail over the open valve and have someone turn the water back on for a minute to flush out the supply and valve. Reassemble the angle stop and connect the tank. Watch out that you don't crossthread it again. Good luck, Tom
