    Tooth infection
    I went to the dentist 2 days ago and he told me I had a tooth infection. My face was swallowed before the visit but my tooth looked fine. The dentist gave me antibiotics, and scheduled me for a root canal in five days. As soon as I got home I took 2 antibiotica as directed than 1 every 6 hours. I have been taking them for two days now, but my face is swallowen and an abcess has appear an my gum. Also, my gum has been bleedind but is still swallow. Should I call my dentist? Please help

    It's really a no-brainer... yes get in touch with your dentist first thing in the morning.

    Oh, and what swallowed your face?

    Yes, I don't think you can have a root canal with an abscess and infection still present.
