    Drugged feeling in morning/heavy eyelids
    Drugged feeling in morning/heavy eyelids

    I wake up every morning after sleeping 8 hours feeling like I am drugged. My eyelids are so heavy, my eyes keep closing and I keep falling back to sleep until I finally force myself to get up an hour later. Anyone else have this experience?

    I would highly suggest a visit to your doctor. This could be many things.

    It could be that you're not getting a good night sleep. Just because you slept for 8 hours doesn't mean you had a deep sleep. You could have been woken up many times during the night, without even realizing, which interrupted your sleep schedule.

    You could have low iron levels, or a thyroid condition, or many other things that is causing this.

    See your doctor. We really can't tell you what's going on.
