    Nursing law in Illinois
I want to become a nurse in Illinois but in 1991 I pled guilty to battery. As part of the plea bargain there is no conviction on file but I still pled guilty. If this comes to light does it prevent me from obtaining a nursing license in Illinois?

I'm sorry to say, but yes it will prevent you from becoming a nurse.
