When I stop taking my Birth Control pills, how soon after should my period come?
Hi, so I recently have stopped taking my Birth Control pills because there may be a chance I'm pregnant. I have been on the pill for around 4-5 years now, and recently had unprotected sex on the first day I was supposed to start a new pack of my pills and I have now missed 3 pills in a row. My doctor told me to stop taking the pills and to just wait to see if my period will come because it's too early to take a test. A few months ago I forgot to take a few pills in a row and was told to stop taking them and to wait for my period to come and then start a new pack- so I waited for my period to come and it only took around 3 days or so for my period to come... So I'm wondering if anyone knows how long it should take for my period to come after I stop taking the pills. SO far it has been a full week that my period was supposed to come, so I wasn't taking pills during that week obviously and also since Sunday (3 days ago) I have not been taking any pills and so far I have got no cramping or bleeding OR any symptoms that my periods coming BUT yesterday I did have some cramps that felt like period cramps but nothing has come yet.

So, if I stopped taking the pills on Sunday then I should wait until next Sunday and if my period still doesn't come then I should go see my doctor? So if today's Tuesday, then I should wait until this Sunday coming up in 4 days to see if my period starts? I have also been having a bad pain in my lower right side my pelvic region just about a few minutes ago it started and the pain begins to hurt every time I try to take a full deep breath... do you know what that could be?
