I have a rainsoft water softener and the salt tank keeps over filling
I have a rain soft water softener and the salt tank keeps over filling it has the main tank with computer on it and that won't let me do much and the other tank holds salt I don't have soft water and sometimes I have real salty water for a few min it about 5 yrs old but wasn't hooked up for 3 or 4 yrs just used salt it came with it has 2 hoses on that goes to salt tank no drain hose I hooked it back up the way they did just on a well now and I don't have any papers on it any more any help would be great I'm lost thank you

Does anyone have any instructions on how to remove a RainSoft system from my house? Leaks, don't need it, and dealer wants over $3,000 to install a new one. Just want to get rid of it and put the plumbing back like it needs to be. Thanks
I have well water that is very hard, a lot of iron, and has sulphur. Will the salt used in a water softener hurt the concrete septic tank and or the leach field?
I have a Rainsoft softener Gold series. I just noticed that the salt level has not gone down at all since last fill about 3 weeks ago. I tried to regenerate and it starts, makes all its noise and then goes to 1:24 and stops. Nothing else happens. Any clues??
Before I call a service tech to come out and charge me an astronomical fee is there anyway you can tell me why my RainSoft Water Softener is continually making a humming sound.
Put a bag of salt in my softener today and it appeared to be way over the brine level. Checked on it a few hours later and still had dry pellets on top. Manually regenerated the system - no fill. Letting it go through its cycle now, but wondering if there's something I'm overlooking. There's...
