landed funny on trampoline, should I go to get an x-ray?
Almost two weeks ago, I attempted a back flip on a trampoline but stupidly started from bouncing out of a sit position. My legs flailed in the air but I got over. I landed on the outside of my right foot and I definitely think I heard a sound when I landed. At first I thought I just twisted it, but when I walk I am very unstable, and the area on the outside half of my foot really hurts just when I apply a small amount of pressure on that part of the foot. When I walk on uneven ground, and I step on something in my arch, the front part of my heel bone really hurts in extreme pain. And sometimes when I step the middle of the outside of my foot (metatarsals?) hurt really bad. I have been wrapping it when I walk around, and put liniment on it, as well as Ice and Ibuprofen, but there has been no progress. Should I go to get it xrayed or should I just wait it out?

Go to the doctor immediately and get an X-ray! Never ever assume it's nothing, particularly when you heard a cracking sound! Better be save than sorry. Don't ignore such cases for 2 weeks. X-rays aren't expensive (and if you have insurance it will be covered).
