Computor on 2000 honda civic won't rest
My 2000 honda civic gx got stolen, so I would remove battery cable nitely to avoid this from happening again. Took it to get smogged everything passed except smog tech can't get any reading from my computor. Mehanic says to keep driving it and it should reset but its been 2 months. I drive a natural gas vehicle and can't get it to pass smog. I am so frustrated cause my extension from dmv has expired HELP!

My car seemed to run out of gas on the highway (sputter, die, coast then restart- repeat). I put some gas in it and it wouldn't restart. It has spark in all four cylinders, and its getting fuel under pressure (I checked the banjo bolt). Gave it a new distributor just in case, still wouldn't start....
