    Water level
    When you have your toilet tank and bowl off, looking into the drain, what should the water level be at, or should there be any water in there at all?

    If you are looking into the drain pipe beneath the toilet there should be no standing water. If there is water you have a partially blocked drain.

    Yea, what ballenger said.
    Also could be the pipe falls the wrong way.
