My boyfriend of 2 years has gone back to his ex girlfriend
My boyfriend and o wre together for 2 years he met me just ten days after his ex finishing with him which she did constantly over the three years she was with him a very tempestuous relationship she was very nasty to him calling police because of his texts etc to get him back. She kept texting/talking to him whole time I was with him but he must also have dine the same. They have also had a few nights away without me knowing. The final straw was that he rejoined a dating agency took a lady out for dinner I found out told him to take most if his stuff back to his flat that lady never saw him again. He said he loved me etc and stayed at his flat then three weeks later after a boys week away he disappeared on mr for the weekend turns out he phone me and decided to go back to his ex as he said he still has feelings for her. Althing he said he will stay at his flat and see her only when it suits him. Finally I felt enough was enough and said I will always love him etc. But even I could not sustain all the above. His best friend cannot stand his ex and really likes me to be out and about. He has already told mr he will be wanting mr back as he just knows but that I must say no and eventually go back but to get him to prove himself and never to move back in with me for at least 6 months. I am trying to recover from it all my ex keeps emailing me at work once a day or so as we know we can comms like that so easily. I want him back but not sure he may do it all again!

    Can you explain this sentence?
He has already told mr he will be wanting mr back as he just knows but that I must say no and eventually go back but to get him to prove himself and never to move back in with me for at least 6 months. I
I figured out "mr" is "me" -- but I'm confused.

It's hard... but you just have to be firm and give yourself respect. If you give yourself respect (not letting yourself exist in a triangle situation like that) then he will be encouraged to respect you too. Sounds like he doesn't know what he wants. Proceed with caution - you can say that you care about him but that he must make a clear choice. If you get back together you can't be "sure" that he will do anything! You'd have to take a leap of faith... don't leap if he is not respecting you or showing you decency though.

The sentence meant his best friend told me that he will undoubtably come back to me eventually not sure of the timescale though. Basically I must not let him straight back into my life though also he must not live with me for awhile until he shows his trust. Finally the ex girlfriend has two children and my boyfriend loves them very much I though am single but he liked that as we could go off and do things but not sure that has anything to do with situation.

You're right -- his care for the kids (especially if they're not his)don't have much to do with it. Take your time... your guys' best friend is right: - don't let him straight into your life or move in until you're sure he's more certain about himself and also... another tip is not to wait around for him -
Live your own life. Take care of yourself get out there and be happy.

The best revenge (and healer) is happiness. Good luck!
