THe answer would have been "start 6 months ago".

In 7 weeks it's a bit late to lose more than a couple pounds.

I guess the real question is how much do you want to lose, but in seven weeks it isn't going to be ground breaking amounts.

Simply cutting out ALL carbs will go a long way..

And if they do a crash diet for these 7 weeks... they are going to put the brakes on their metabolism and gain it and that much more back shortly after. That's the real danger of attempting too much too quick. And why so many people fail.

Indeed.
Diet alone is not good, but adding more activity helps wonders.
Slowly but surely beats fast and furious, in more ways than one ;)
