    How can I lose weight? Please help!
    I'm 10 years old and I weigh 140 pounds. What are some ways to help me lose weight and what type of meals should I eat (I know healthy meals but I mean can you give me some recipes?) websites will help. Please don't be rude. Oh and I have a park behind my house so I can exercise out there. No mean answers please! :)

    For starters... site rules dictate you get the answers people give you...


    First... stop the sweetened drinks including fruit juice... lots of empty calories... lay off the junk food, all of it...

    Don't eat lots of bread or starchy food... eat more green veggies and salads..

    Understand you want to do this slowly so don't starve yourself, eat none of the bad stuff and if you are hungry still eat more of the good stuff.

    Expect it to take 6 months or more and expect to forever have to chage your eating habits...

    Try too much too fast and you slow your metabolism down... which is bad... and means your body will put on MORE weight with the same foods... because it thinks you are starving... and it doesn't speed back up quickly either...

    That's why people that crash diet put of the weight they lost PLUS even more.
