Over the last 2 weeks our ratt has swelled qpup bigger then a baseball on her stomach area.we know. She is not pregnant and we feed her as usual so she's not overeating she has gotten so big she drags herself over to drank water and eat could u figure this out and what we should do thank u

This is when you take her to the vet to be diagnosed. She could have a tumor or have something wrong with her insides. Take her to the vet as soon as you can, okay?

Rats are prone to cancerous growths. I have lost many rats due to this problem. What you describe sounds like your rat has cancer and will probably die soon.

You can take it to a vet for a real diagnosis but there's not much you can do either way. I actually paid to have one of my rats humanely put down because she had a golf ball size growth in her side and it looked like she was dealing with too much discomfort. I didn't feel right in making her go through that.
