    My sick dog, please help!
    My dog is 6months old pitbull mixed, he will not eat or drink at all, I bought him kids pedilite but will not drink it,he also has a hot rough nose. Do I force the pedilte down his mouth, or what I'm a single Dad,Mom passed away and I'm broke!

    Unfortunately you are going to have to figure out a way to get this puppy to the vet.

    When dogs have absolutely no interest in food or water, there is something majorly going wrong.

    In the mean time.. try cooking browned hamburger and rice or boiled chicken and rice and see if he eats it. You might have to syringe the pedialyte down his throat so he gets some fluids.

    Dehydration is a huge enemy... which is why you need to at least talk with a vet. Some clinics and hospitals are able to arrange payment or have a payment system you can apply for.

    If you are trying, than that's all anyone can ask for... Call around.. see who will be able to work with your budget.

    I have only one thing to add to Lucky's post, because she covered it all.

    I also want to suggest talking to your local humane society. Many times, if you're a good pet owner, and broke, they will offer vet care for volunteer work, or a donation when you can afford it. Try calling them, it's worth a try. But yes, your only option is a vet, or losing your pet. Dehydration can kill within days.
